This Standard Operating Procedure defines how Tradvolt moves industrial LFP battery and power conversion equipment shipments from factories in mainland China to consignees in the Republic of Indonesia. The procedure applies to sea freight, air freight, and multimodal routings, and covers HS code verification, Incoterms 2020 alignment, and Indonesian customs clearance on the official CEISA portal.

1. Scope and applicability
This procedure applies whenever Tradvolt ships a finished LFP product, an OEM service part, or a replacement spare from a Chinese manufacturer to an Indonesian end user, EPC, or distributor. Each shipment must be tracked from PO confirmation through SPPB release and inland delivery. The corridor involves two distinct customs territories, so export clearance in China and import clearance in Indonesia must be sequenced. 4. Duty, tax, and HS code block (REQUIRED)
HS code basis. Tradvolt's industrial LFP vertical covers lithium iron phosphate battery modules, hybrid inverters, and Battery Management Systems. Each shipment must carry the HS code validated by the Indonesian PPJK against the Indonesian customs HS reference, which is aligned with the WCO Harmonized System. The HS code is the controlling number for all downstream duty, VAT, and income-tax calculations.

Tax components to expect on the PIB:
- Bea Masuk ( import duty ) — ad valorem rate based on the HS code, set by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance.
- PPN ( value-added tax ) — applied on the CIF value plus duty.
- PPh 22 ( income tax article 22 for importers ) — applied on the CIF value at the importer rate.
Rates: PENDING — lookup on the official portal below before each shipment. Do not paste historical rates into the PIB; rates change with Indonesian Ministry of Finance regulations and the importer's tax status.

8. Roles and responsibilities
- Tradvolt export sales — owns the sales contract, the Incoterm, and the buyer relationship.
- Tradvolt logistics coordinator — owns the booking, the export dossier, and the ERP shipment record.
- Tradvolt QA — owns the ISO 2859-1 sampling plan and the PSI outcome.
- Chinese forwarder (FIATA member) — owns the export clearance, the booking, the Bill of Lading or AWB, and the dangerous goods declaration.
- Indonesian PPJK ( customs broker ) — owns the HS validation, the PIB lodgement, the duty / tax payment, and the SPPB release.
- Indonesian local transporter — owns the inland pickup at the port and the delivery to the consignee warehouse.
9. Exception handling
- LARTAS-restricted HS code. If the PPJK flags an import license ( e.g. steel, electronics, telecom ), halt PIB lodgement and request the buyer to obtain the license from the relevant Indonesian ministry before re-issuing the booking.
- Customs examination ( merah / kuning band ). If the goods are placed on the red lane, the PPJK coordinates the physical examination; the consignee must attend and sign the Berita Acara Pemeriksaan ( BAP ).
- DG hold at POL. If the carrier refuses the booking due to missing UN 38.3 documentation, the shipment is held until the test report is supplied; reschedule to the next available vessel.
- Demurrage over the free time. Pre-book the trucking slot 48 hours before ETA so the container can be moved out of the port within the free period.
